Letters to grandpa is a project sharing my achievements with my grandpa who passed away in June 2021, just before I was about to move to university. Losing a relative is the hardest thing about life, not being able to share personal achievements, experiences and triumphs with that missing person is heartbreaking. 

This project is an outlet for me to tell my grandpa everything that has happened since his passing, and that life still has more to offer after you lose someone close to you.

This project was first inspired by a photo wall I had in my student accommodation, the wall was full of snapshots of my life since starting university. This digitalised version I have created, with each letter attached to a specific image, reflects a memory I've had in the pass three years that I wish I could've told my grandpa about.
