Are We Frightened Of A Strong Woman?

The idea for this project stemmed from my sister Bethany, who is a paramedic. After looking up to her as such an inspirational woman, doing something I could never picture myself doing, I quickly realised that so many amazing women are often overlooked and aren’t given the opportunity to be recognised for their incredible work. Over the past two months, I decided to reach out to eight incredible women whose work has impacted our community in a positive way and is helping to inspire a new generation. 

 

My aim for this project was to shed light on these extraordinary women, give them a platform to feel empowered and supported, and share their stories with our community. Resulting in this project acting as a stepping stone to changing the way females should be represented.
